Is it possible to register the wording of sentences?

You can register pairs of source and translated text with the translation memory function.

It depends on the setting of the sentence, but it is usually a horizontal English sentence rotated 90 degrees to the right.

Is user interface in English available?

Yes. From "Account Settings" menu at top right (gear icon) of COTOHA Translator display, you can select display language from English, Japanese and Simplified Chinese.

Can I use COTOHA Translator from anywhere without IP address restrictions with ID/PW only?

Type 1 (With IP address authentication) and Type 2 (No IP Address Authentication) can be selected at the time of application. You cannot change the Type of the service, and to change it you need to cancel it and apply for a new one.

It's service specification. Section breaks are inserted to retain the layout as much as possible.

This is because uppercase and lowercase letters are mixed in the learned text data. It can not be unified for now.

Why are user dictionaries and translation memories not reflected in my translations?

In order to apply user dictionaries and translation memories to the translation result, it is necessary to create a profile, associate it with the user ID, user dictionaries and translation memories, and then specify the profile at the time of translation.

When I tried to translate a text file, an error appeared and I couldn't translate it. Why?

Text files that can be translated are in the following format, so please check if the format is correct.
・File extensions: .txt
・MIME type: text/plain
・Character codes: UTF-8
・Line feed codes: LF, CR/LF
・BOM: either of Use or Not use
