Is there an automatic logout feature?

It logs out automatically after the length of inactivity that customer applied.
Also, if you logged in simultaneously with the same IDs, the session you logged in later becomes valid, and the session logged in first is automatically logged out.

Why do I fail to import user dictionary and translation memory?

Check if the following error causes are not applicable.
・The file format is not csv or tsv, or the file format and the file contents are different.
・Incorrect field name definition.
・The number of characters is exceeded.
・Duplicate words in other lines.
・A line break is included in the field of a phrase.

*For more details, please check clause 2.1.2. Creating User Dictionary Data Files of the Administrator Manual available from the Help menu at top right (? icon) of COTOHA Translator display.

*File import may be completed even if the character code of the file is not UTF-8 or Shit-JIS, but the dictionary contents may be garbled.

When will source and result files be deleted?

The source file will be deleted when the translation is completed. Translation result file will be deleted when you delete it from UI or automatically after the days you specified on application (1 day minimum).

Are there plans to support languages other than English (Chinese, etc.)?

The basic service menu offers translation between Japanese - English and Japanese - Chinese (Simplified/Traditional). The multi-language option also offers 22 additional language pairs.

Is API available?

We can provide customers of Enterprise Plan and Business Plan with API as personalized customization. With the other plans, it is under discussion.

Is it available overseas?

The service is available in almost all countries and regions outside of Japan, such as Asia, North/South America, and Europe.

No, you cann't. With the Basic Plan, 1ID per 1 user.

Will the revisions in Word files be translated?

It does not translate the revisions including deleted sentences.

Will the selected profile persist after logout?

It may not be saved depending on the operating system or browser. In that case, please select a profile each time.

You cannot delete a user dictionary if it is assigned to a profile.
