About profile check of vApp (iOS/MacOS)

Answer

If you are using this service with vApp (iOS/MacOS), follow the two steps below.

(1)Activate a VPN account in vApp (iOS/MacOS)
(2)Connect to VPN from the iOS setting screen

To perform (2) VPN connection, a configuration profile needs to be installed.
Check if a configuration profile needs to be installed by following the steps below.

Noted that if you update a pre-shared key of vCore in the Business Portal (for Virtual), you need to obtain the configuration profile again. In that case, download the profile again by tapping "Obtain settings" on the screen in Step 1.

[Step 1] Check the server name using vApp (iOS/MacOS)

Start vApp and activate a VPN account using any ID.
When successfully activated, the following screen is displayed.
 See the "Server Name" section.
Note: This image is an example. The "Server Name" section may be "JAPAN-EAST-vCore(i)."

[Step 2] Check the VPN configuration

[iOS case]
From the "Settings" menu of iOS, go to "General" > "VPN."
If there is a VPN configuration whose name is the same as the server name confirmed in Step 1, the profile has been successfully installed.

[MacOS case]
Start vApp and select "File" on menu bar then select "Open Network Preferences..." .
If there is a VPN configuration whose name is the same as the server name confirmed in Step 1, the profile has been successfully installed.
